The Khajiit are a playable race present in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Khajiit are i of the brute races which inhabit the continent of Tamriel, primarily their home province of Elsweyr. The Khajiit have feline appearance and sly accent common to Mainland china, however their type is non specified. Along with the Argonians, they are referred to as the beast-races of Skyrim. Because of this, Khajiit accept a negative public prototype. They are the rarest race encountered in Skyrim, most commonly found merely in caravans.

Abilities and professions

Known for their natural agility and stealth, many Khajiit disdain weapons in favor of their claws. When involved in gainsay, they will flatten their ears, narrow their eyes, and show their teeth (like to a real-life true cat). Many Khajiit are too warriors, although this is mainly true of the Cathay-raht, a breed taller and more powerful than the Cathay that are rarely found outside Elsweyr. These skills, combined with the general tendency of humans and mer to wait down on Khajiit and "beasts," leads many Khajiit outside of their home province to become professional person assassins, thieves or bandits in other lands.

Other Khajiit in the province of Skyrim find their cunning nature suitable for mercantilism and trade. Still more are involved in the illegal smuggling of skooma, a narcotic.

Khajiit are typically viewed as 2d-class citizens due to their bestial advent. Due to stereotypes, many are viewed every bit cheats, liars, thieves, and drug addicts. Many Khajiit have a strong racial dislike for Argonians (a feeling required by their eastern neighbors). Special abilities

  • Night Eye – See in the night for 60 seconds for an unlimited number of times per day.

Classes and builds

Khajiits excel in stealth roles, making them extraordinary assassins, thieves, and archers. Their fantabulous Sneak level coupled with certain Archery and Sneak perks make them very deadly archers, especially when sneak attacking. They besides have skill in melee combat, with their natural claws offer them 22 points of unarmed damage, five.5 higher than the normal unarmed impairment of most races.[note 1] This ability makes them ideal for brawling as they out-damage their foes.   • Despite dialogue saying that they are not welcome in cities and there being no other Khajiit nowadays, the guards will not terminate or acknowledge a Khajiit Dragonborn or a Khajiit follower.
  • In addition to standard elven strike teams, the Thalmor also employ Khajiit assassins when stealth is required.[5]
